What is tinnitus?
Tinnitus is the perception of noise or ringing in the ears when no external sound is present. Tinnitus can vary in intensity and may be intermittent or constant. It can significantly impact a person's quality of life, causing stress, anxiety, and difficulty concentrating. It is a symptom that may result from a variety of underlying conditions but it is predominantly a neurological response to an auditory anomaly.
It is normal to experience tinnitus from time to time but if it does not fade away within a few days it is very important to consult your doctor. About 10% of the population experience tinnitus all the time and 1% to 2% of the population find it bothersome and even distressing.
Tinnitus Management

The results of the audiological testing determine the next steps. This can vary from a simple microsuction procedure to ameliorating sound therapies.

Full consultations can take up to 90 Mins and cost €225 during which 90% of sufferers experience their tinnitus being lowered.
